It is important to know what different types of airport parking services CHEAP GATWICK PARKING has to offer. The list below provides an explanation of the service/facilities for each of the different types of airport parking available if you book with us
Park and Ride - The most common parking service at airports
Just as with city centre park and rides the service will pick you up and return you to your car which will stay securely in the car park.
One way Meet and Greet - Offers a car collection service on solely your arrival or departure from the airport
Unlike standard Meet and Greet, this service only offers a collection one way. You can either drive straight to the airport and your car be collected or on your return be met with your car.
Valet parking - Removes the need for you to park your car
Instead, everything operates from one arrivals/departures area. When you arrive here a driver will park your car for you while you catch the transfer bus to the airport. When you return to the car park your car will be brought to you at the arrivals/departure area.
Hotels with parking - A great way to relieve you of timing and traffic issues
You can stay at an Airport Hotel so that the next morning you are just minutes away from the airport. You will then be offered either: a transfer service to the airport straight from the hotel, where your car will stay for the duration of your holiday or the use of a nearby secured parking facility and an alternative transfer to the airport.
Meet and Greet parking - The most convenient option for parking at the airport
This service means you are met at the terminal by a driver who will collect your car and take it to one of our approved secure car parks, leaving you free to check-in and when you return, your car will be delivered back to you at the terminal. Meet and Greet parking is great for golfers, surfers and skiers or anyone with loads of luggage. Services vary, so be sure to read the details.
Top Tip: If you're traveling as a large family then the best option is the Meet and Greet service that we have available at most airports. The service will help to relieve some of the pressure when you arrive at the airport making the start of your journey easy going.
On-airport parking - Is parking that is within the airport boundary
Despite being within the airport it is sensible to check the transfer times and distance to the terminals, as airports can be deceptively big. In general the closer you are to the terminal the more you pay for the convenience.
Off-airport parking - Is parking that is located outside the airport boundary
Despite being outside the airport boundaries it is worth checking the transfer times from these car parks as, very occasionally, they are closer than on-airport facilities.
Holiday parking - Is for our customers traveling during the busy holiday periods
Usually defined by the period of peak holiday time from March until October, Holiday parking caters for anybody flying from a UK airport for their vacation.
